How your reflections and legacy are kept safe.
The Guiding Principle
Your journal is private by default. Public sharing is anonymous unless you choose your name.
Your Journals and Prayers
Your prayers, personal reflections, and recorded life events require sign-in and are private by default. Reflections can be shared only through the choices described below; prayers and life events have no direct public-sharing option.
Family Group Sharing
Connected family members can see entries you explicitly share with the family. Favorite scriptures and personal notes attached to them are also visible to your connected family group.
The Public Reading Room
A reflection reaches the Reading Room only if you explicitly publish it there. The author’s name is never shown in the public Reading Room.
Woven Stories and Links
A woven Story remains private unless you generate a share link. Anyone with that link can read it. You can remain anonymous, disable the link at any time, and newly woven material is never automatically published to an existing link.
AI Enrichment and Third-Party Services
When you request enrichment or story weaving, relevant reflections, life events, and scripture notes are sent to Anthropic. Account sign-in and identity are handled by Clerk.
Downloads and Exports
You may request a PDF export for your own safekeeping. Once downloaded, you control where that file is stored or shared.
